The free celebration combined Unity Day, the Polish Festival and the Latin Festival into one multicultural event, highlighting the traditions that help shape the city. Presented by Mayor Derek Armstead, the City of Linden and the Department of Parks & Recreation, the festival brought residents together around City Hall and the Raymond Wood Bauer Promenade.
Food and entertainment, including appearances by Hall of Fame professional wrestlers, offered something for a variety of interests. The Linden Public Library also participated, sharing information about its programs and services.
The day gave neighbors an opportunity to connect while celebrating Linden’s many cultures.
